People with a Keen Scent for the Country and Statehood should give a Lead in the Language Issue, V.Lytvyn
Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made this statement at the press conference in Berezne town in Rivne region.
"The crucial task is to preserve the State of Ukraine," V.Lytvyn stressed. "I believe that all the bills on language issues should be forwarded to the National Academy of Sciences." The Head of the Parliament believes that the experts should review the acts "from the viewpoint of history and social science." V.Lytvyn reminded that nearly 20 bills on this topic had been registered at the Parliament.
